Judson Banks is a founding member and partner of Erlingson Banks, PLLC.
He practices in the areas of Commercial Litigation, Insurance Defense, Premises Liability Defense, Business Law and Construction Law. He also advises on tax and foreclosure related matters.
Judson has successfully represented clients in both jury and bench trials in Louisiana state and federal courts, as well as before various state administrative boards and commissions. In addition, he has successfully negotiated favorable resolution for his clients utilizing alternative dispute resolution including mediation and arbitration.
In addition, Judson routinely advises private entities and municipalities on business related matters including corporate and structuring as well as the creation and negotiation of contracts, buy/sell agreements, and leases.
Judson dedicates his time and services to organizations that are committed to the betterment and overall improvement of Baton Rouge. In particular, Judson serves on the board of the Charles W. Lamar YMCA. He is also a member of the Board of Directors for HOPE Ministries, a non-profit organization and United Way member whose mission is to prevent homelessness through education and self-sufficiency. He was recently chosen to serve on the Executive Board and is involved in overseeing the programs and direction of the organization. He has also taken an active role in mentoring middle and high school students interested in entering the law profession by participating in the Baton Rouge Bar Association’s Law Day.
