Lee Ledet joins Erlingson Banks
Erlingson Banks, PLLC is pleased to announce that attorney Lee J. Ledet has joined the firm as an Associate.
Lee’s primary practice areas include, General Civil Litigation, Insurance Defense, Civil Rights and Public Entity Litigation, Business Law and Construction Law.
Prior to joining Erlingson Banks, Lee served as Assistant Attorney General with the Louisiana Office of the Attorney General’s Litigation Division, where he defended claims asserted against public entities arising under state and federal law including Civil Rights claims arising under 42 U.S.C. § 1983, Title VII employment discrimination claims arising under Title VII, the ADA, the ADEA, FMLA, as well as IDEA claims.
A native of Thibodaux and a resident of St. Francisville, Louisiana, Lee earned his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University in 2003 and his Juris Doctorate from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2010.
Lee is admitted to practice in all Louisiana State Courts, the United States Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit, and the United States District Courts for the Middle, Eastern, and Western Districts of Louisiana. In addition, Lee is a member of the Baton Rouge Bar Association, Louisiana State Bar Association, American Bar Association, and serves as the Vice President for the Feliciana Bar Association.
